Research Highlights - Mid-Atlantic Ridge


Sea surface magnetic data were collected over the west flank of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge between 25°N and 27°N as part of the ONR (Office of Naval Research) Acoustic Reverberation Study Research Project (ARSRP). The magnetic research on this area has now been published in the Journal of Geophysical Research vol. 103, Aug. 1998. Some figures from the paper are shown below.
